Media Buyer
Duties include locating available online media to match advertisers' criteria, negotiating and contracting with publishers, purchasing targeted media, and building top-tier publisher relationships in association with our multi-campaign solution.
Advertising Sales Representative
Experience in radio a plus. Responsible for contacting prospective advertising clients, preparing and making sales presentations, and negotiating advertising contracts, in association with a new online product we sill soon launch. Initially, duties will also include brokering deals between advertisers and multiple online publishers, including negotiating and contracting with publishers for purchase of advertising space.
Creative/Web Development
Candidate should have experience and talent with web development, HTML, Flash, Javascript, database/web integration, and ASP. Some experience with VBscript and SQL Server would be a plus. Should be motivated and stimulated by problem solving. Immediate responsibilities will include development of advertising creative, including animated GIF and rich media, web development (in association with our own sites and client's sites). Future duties may include coding new features and enhancements to our proprietary ad serving and reporting system.
Advertising Sales Director
Do you have experience selling online advertising, and a
proven track record of success? BannerSpace.com, Inc. has
a rare opportunity to join a fast growing internet
advertising company, in the initial expansion phase,
challenging work environment, and exciting growth
potential.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Initial responsibilities include all aspects of
interactive ad sales, from lead building, to cold
calling, contract negotiation, closing, ad brokering, and
new media acquisition. Long term responsibilities will
include business development, building, training, and
managing a staff of account executives for multiple sales
departments.
POSITION DETAILS:
Focus on building sub-channels of highly targeted
content, and large channels of broadly targeted media.
Broker advertising contracts between online publishers
and existing advertiser accounts. Develop new business in
advertiser accounts and publisher sales representation
contracts. Act as exclusive sales representative for
contracted online media properties, including selling
both targeted and non-targeted, remnant advertising
space. Lead sales projects associated with several
upcoming new products.
Travel: Rare, less than 5%.
Position: Full-time, inside, Laurel MD.
Salary: DOE
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in
internet advertising sales. Experience selling other
media formats a plus.
Proven track record of successful closing performance.
Media acquisition or media buying experience a plus.
Any experience with an online advertising network a plus.
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
Desire to work for a small business in growing phase, and
passion for driving business growth and exceeding goals.
Marketing expertise, and the ability to listen to and
understand a client's needs and build advertising
plans/proposals designed to achieve the client's specific
goals.
Understanding of what online marketing approach will
work, and what will not work, for each individual client.
Highly motivated, does not pause after first successes,
but builds on them.
Excellent organization skills to track and manage
multiple projects at once, and large numbers of accounts
at different stages of the sales cycle, while continuing
to locate and pursue new leads every day.
